Man you have some SUPER shitty luck haha.
Probably on 8thcivic, I have a build thread on there as well.

I've always had bad luck with all my cars. Anytime I want to upgrade it, I always seem to talk about, then something happens where it forces me to upgrade haha.

I vote for the Style 95s and paint them purple. The car looks really good though

          Ohhh okay!
Also yeah I can tell haha.
I would recommend not going with style 95s because you literally will not be able to go low at all.
Even people with 18s have issues with rubbing the frame when you go super low.

I'd definitely consider them, I really want to test fit them. Just wish someone had them locally to test fit for free.

Also I think I commented on your thread on 8th. As for the 95's I kinda want to, but I think I'm going a different route. I'm going for a "track" stance. 18X10.5 +15 wrapped in either 275/35/18's or 295/35/18's.

Had a guy at work make me a custom "GrapeGang" sticker with the backwards "R" like in CamberGang. It was exactly what I wanted for font, but it turned out ok.

My friend Sarah wanted to get a photoshoot of her SC300 before she sold it, so I showed her one of my favorite places, and we proceeded with a one last hoorahh shoot for her. While her and my buddy were busy doing professional shots, I was doing some iPhone 6 photography haha.

Here's one of the end results of her shoot. I'm sure some of you recognize the car, it's been going around for years.

              image

While I'm showing buddies car's I'll show the photographers car. I was driving his WRX, while he was shooting from the back of a lifted Tundra.

Now back onto the shitty part of my car....

While I was at that height, I did a canyon run late one night by myself and ran over a rock the size of my fist, and it hit my oil pan shattering it.

Not a very good picture, but this is oil pan #1

                image

I ended up fixing it next day with my buddy.

Four days later, yuuuuuuuup happened again. I was on my way to Skrillex, and I pulled into a gas station that was having some construction done, and I ran over this little guy (which wasn't originally in the dirt, it was on pavement)

                image

                Caused this

                image

                image

                image

As soon as I hit it, I knew it didn't feel right. So I parked it immediately, got out of the car looked behind me, and noticed the trail. I then started it went to the other side of the parking lot, so it wasn't bothering anyone and parked it for almost week before I could get my dad to come pick it up.

So this makes it oil pan #2 in four days, and tow #2 as well.

                image

So I finally had enough of the low life, and decided to raise my car 4ish inches all around.

Car looked goofy rolling around on 205/40/17's so I bought some Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 215/45/17's.

                image

While I was at it, I ditched my Godspeed Camber arms, and went with some proper Voodoo13 Camber Arms, and an alignment that I set myself.

Out with the old, in with the new!

                image

And finished result of raising car

                image

Talk about grip, these things are amazing hands down. My buddy had some Yoko Slippery Drives, and we went to a local spot that has some 90* S turns, and he couldn't keep up with me through the turns, and was under steering, while I maintained grip.

Went and visited my friend, and she kept asking me what could be done to make her car a bit louder, since her TRD exhaust wasn't cutting it. So we went to a local exhaust shop and did a resonator delete. For $30 she wasn't complaining, however we both agreed it needs to be a bit louder, so she's going to buy some Borla UEL Header sometime soon.

                  image

Buddy with the Silver Civic shown previously, finally received his '15 Mustang GT Track Package with Recaros.

                  image

Sarah with the SC I showed earlier was selling her Super Advans and let me test fit one to see what it looks like.

Specs 18X10 +24 wrapped in 275/40/18, and it seem to fit pretty well. A minor pull in the front and I think it would have fit perfect with no rubbing. Definitely helps give me a better idea with the direction I'm going with the car.

                  image

                  image

But that was all fun and games and was short lived, because.........

                  image

                  image

                  Spun bearing #4

I was messing around testing out my cornering skills, and went around a corner around 5500-6500K and noticed my VTEC wasn't engaging. Not knowing the Z3 oil pans aren't baffled, I did it again on purpose to see if it was just a fluke, and sure as shit it wasn't. The very last turn at 7200K starved cylinder #4 of oil, and I immediately got rod knock. So fuck me right?

I looked at it positively, and started a build plan for a built K24/K20 N/A build since I've always wanted an N/A monster.

So it started out with me buying a bare K24A4 block for cheap

                  image

But that was short lived, because a few days later I lost my job. Extremely bad timing, and considering I had one last paycheck of $1,200ish coming my way. I had to think of a way to buy another block & still have money to pay my car payment & insurance.

So I ended up hitting up a local shop that sold me a running K24A4 from an Accord for $400, and still had enough to pay car payment & insurance. I unfortunately don't have any pics of the newer block, but I'm sure you all know what a block looks like.

As far as the swap went, it went extremely well, and was pretty straight forward. I ran into a few snags. The worst one was after I got the car running, finding out the stock pistons that come in the Accord don't have deep enough valve reliefs for VTEC heads, soooo that means I can't VTEC at all until I swap out to at least '09 TSX pistons. But hell I'm just happy to have a running car now. The good news, the day after I got my car running, I got a new job at Safelite Autoglass (huge pay cut, but it'll do for now).

Here's a pretty cool Time Lapse video I made during my swap process. (Wish I knew how to embed Youtube videos)

So I finished the swap a few months ago after taking 3 months to finish.

Then this happened on Sunday, it was pouring rain and I hit a puddle that was deeper than anticipated at 30ish MPH, and it caught my bumper and sucked it underneath my car, and I dragged it for about 30ish yards.

                  image

                  image

So that's toast, and now I'm saving for a CTR rep front bumper.

Annnnnnnd that pretty much concludes the story of Fae and all of our trials and tribulations. It's obviously not done, and I have some more plans for it as long as the bad luck stays away, so we shall see.

So lets recap what I've broken
                  3 front lips
                  3 bumpers
                  2 oil pans
                  2 sets of side skirts
                  2 sets of front fenders
2 exhausts (forgot to mention I put a hole in my Greddy exhaust, and ripped a hanger off, so I bought my buddies Skunk2)
                  1 rear lip
                  1 rear bumper
                  1 subframe
                  1 motor

I didn't think it was possible for someone to have this bad of luck.
Excited to see this track phase of the car!

Track phase should be under way hopefully by end of year!

Thank you sir, I've definitely have had some low points (no pun intended) with this car, but can't let it discourage me from my vision.

It tends to happen with all my cars. Anytime I want to upgrade, something breaks forcing me to do it.

Hell my last car was an SC300, and I always had wanted a 1JZ or 2JZ, and low and behold, blew a headgasket on my N/A 2J, and Sarah (SC that I showed earlier) was selling her 1JZ & R154 swap, so I picked that up.

Annnnnnd, I'm back. Got a couple updates, but nothing super major.

Last thing I posted was about how I ran over my bumper, and I was bumper less up until two weeks ago. While I was bumper less, I took a rock to my condenser and all my freon leaked out leaving me without A/C the last hot month in AZ. However, I made the best of a bad situation, and painted the condenser with shark teeth, and at the same time installed my buddies rusted fender and his RPF1's for a bit.

                              Untitled

For Christmas, I bought myself a front bumper. Since it wasn't painted I didn't install quite yet, which ends up working in my favor later on.

                              Untitled

Fast forward till two weeks ago, that bumper I had chilling in the garage since Christmas. Well low and behold there's a guy on my local 8thgen forum wanting to change up his car, and looking for a sedan front bumper. I message him right away, and he offers to do a straight trade for his USDM Mugen RR bumper. Only downside is it's wrapped but at least it's wrapped my cars color, However it is peeling in a few places. Which isn't to big of a deal, I'll have it painted sometime this year.

                              Untitled

NOW, throughout this whole time I've replaced a few things, new brakes, new condenser, and last night I got a free Progress 22MM Rear Swaybar from a guy parting his car. He was trading in his Si the following morning, and offered a few parts for free as long as we gave him the stock parts in return. It was a deal I could not pass up.

I've also started Vlogging recently, so you can catch a few updates on there as well.
