    Good Day S/W!

Bought myself an old piece of sh*t Volvo a couple of weeks back. Second day I had it the exhaust fell off, other than that its mint. Only got about 12k miles on it, pretty decent for an -88.

Will post pictures later this evening!

12k miles?? thats not pretty decent, it's crazy low. I highly doubt the autenticity of this mileage. Lol.

Nice car to start and tinker with though. Have fun. I love volvos

Nice platform man! The more bricks the better! interior looks wicked minty. Check out my build thread if you get the chance, can't wait to see this come back to life.

Thanks! Apart from a few tiny cracks in the dashboard and a missing window crank knob the interior is more or less perfect! Have read through your thread already and your 240 is looking real good!

                Update

Haven't touched this turd until today. Got the front end back together.
Will fix the exhaust when I can get my hands on a welder.
Going to cut the springs sometime next week, will post pictures then.
                cheers

                  Wheels are on

I lied in the first post, the car is not mint. It's a piece of crap.

                  The rear fenders are rusty

Just gonna embrace it for now though, but I'll fix it eventually

Then theres the right rear door..

Badly dented. Any ideas on how to get this back out?

Got the wheels on though, the offroad status is real

Will need some spacers too, cause this thing is sunk.

Oh, right, I need new taillights too..

Will probably cut the springs either tonight or tomorrow

                  cheers

cut the front springs 2 coils, will cut the rear tomorrow. I want to cut the fronts some more but I need to cut my bumpstops first

                        Soo~
cut the springs a little more, minus three coils total in the front, and same in the rear.
Want the car a lot lower than what it is right now, so I'm gonna shorten the struts up front and buy 240 shocks to get this piece of junk closer to the ground without having it sit on the bumpstops.
Haven't sorted out the rear yet, but will probably go with some stiffer springs and 240 shocks aswell.

                        cheers
