Its time for the next big leather update which some of you are going to really like & some of you are not.
In the last year the car has become just a show car & its not used for anything else accept a few local meets.
So to finish it off i decided to buy this below off andy, some of you will remember this pic.

And to go with the look of the rest of the car i had an idea, which i spoke to john about & 6 months later he sent me these pictures.

The cage has been covered in foam first & then the grey leather with blue stitching to match the rest of the car.
We arranged for me to go to john's the day before gaydon to get the cage fitted.
First the front seats had to come out.

Then the rear bench & side bolsters.

The next problem was getting the cage in,which took some time & some good ideas from John.

Then John had to modify two old foam bolsters to fit around the cage ( which actually keep the cage in place ), which he did & then covered then in some nice new black leather, they look like they have always been in there & they were fitted in the factory.

All fitted with the front seats back in.

Mine & John's car together.

I can only say again & again how good John's work is & what a great job he has done for me with the cage.
Some pics of my car from the show on sunday.

Oh yeah as you probably all know i got home a day later than i should as this below happened on the way home.

But before you all ask nothing happened to the rim, thank god.
