  • Thanks for all the comments guys.

So last weekend was Early Edition & as ive never been before plus it would of been rude not to pop along to see what its like.

Stopped off at moleman's Friday evening before we headed up to Northampton on the Saturday.

Gave the car a quick wash while Shaun was test fitting his RS2's

Parked up at the hotel for the night.

And a few from the show.

              Thanks mate.

Its been a while since the last update but as i been waiting for all the BBK parts to arrive its now all come together.

First i orderd the brackets from Rally Road in the States thanks to Joey, which took the longest to arrive but im glad as they were a perfect fit.

Then next were the CSL Discs all round from Cotswold Bmw.

Also some new Pin kits from eBay,thanks again to Joey.

And last was the Texar Porsche brake pads here with all the parts together ready to fit.

Booked the car in for a full service over the last weekend & got the BBK fitted at the same time.

              Fronts geeting fitted.

              Front all done.

              Rear all done.

And a shot of the car rasied up for the journey to Austria this Friday.

Sorry about the rubbish pictures will try & get a load more over the next few weeks.

                          • So ive finally recovered from our euro road trip to Worthersee Austria & the first thing i will say is that i will be going back next year for sure & for longer. what a beautiful country Austria is & the standard of cars in unbelievable.

It was my first experience of driving on the other side of the road & 2500 miles later i really enjoyed it.

I will now let the pictures do the talking.

First fuel stop of many in Amesbury after meeting up with Shaun (moleman) in his e28.

Then we drove up to tunnel for our 1am crossing.

                            On the train.

Somewhere in France for some more fuel.

And after all day driving with a few hours sleep we finally got to the Austrian border.

The next day we woke up to this view.

                            And washed the cars.

The next 5 days were spent driving around the lake stopping at various places like Reifnitz where the main show is held & Faakersee where massive meets are held most days.

                            Standard water tower shot.

40 minutes up the road from where we stayed there was a small Porsche museum & thought it would be rude if we didn't stop in on the way home.

Next stop was Stuttgart for the night.

And the next morning we visited the main Porsche museum there & i came back to my car at met Dino.

And spoke him while i was getting pulled over by the local police lol !

A hour after leaving Stuttgart this happened.

Thought it was just a puncture at first but once the spare had been fitted & a look at the inside of the wheel 18 of my new split rim bolts had snapped, don't know why & the company who are replacing them for me have never heard of this happening before.

A example of one of the bolts.

All in all we had a fantastic trip & i would recommend it to anyone even if your not in to the Vw scene the views & different countries are worth saying with your own eyes.
