• Always Late To The Party

So...
After much time I man up and get a real car
Worked for months saving monies and building credits to buy this

2003 Nissan 350Z track model (6sp )
I absolutely love this car, wanted a black or white one but this blue catches your eye in any light

This will be a slow and modest build; plans are:

Led tailights
Front bumper lip
Maybe a rear splitter
Nice set of 19s
HR intake or ITBs
Finish air ride and throw that on

First fill-up, put in $35

Back from the Dead

It's been over a year since I posted on here, I mostly been posting on my IG @yo_holle.

So whats new? not much I've loved and lost, Been through many tanks of gas and a few sets of tires and even installed my airride

As of today
IMG_20160820_140157 by motomanb, on Flickr

Thats on some lowering springs I got for cheap and threw them on. This was the same height i had on the airride. I knew I could I get that low with lowering springs. Also the bags I had rubbed and the connections by the manifolds leaked bad so I took it off.

Another thing I did lately was my headlights. I had the Idea for a long time of having led DRL like the new GTR on my Z.

So far I haven't seen anyone else with it and it turned out pretty good. I'll be re-doing them because they're not bright enough to be seen in the daytime

I been taking it to the dragstrip and my best is 14.2 stock still going for 13s stock
I have test pipes and getting a y-pipe before winter and more mods after winter

My brother isn't an internet kind of guy but he has a few builds (2002, Ghia) and i'll do mini updates from here

I despise a lot of aftermarket DRL installs, but this seems genuinely well done. Do you have a picture of the car itself with the lights on?

How it looks in the daytime

Not that bright

They light up the whole headlight housing which is why I'm re-doing them

I love me a Z. Though my only experiences with them are blowing a rod out the bottom of the motor, busting radiators and wiring nightmares the DRLs look good tho. If they were able to be seen distinctly when on theyd look even better. Like the idea behind that tho, clever.

Thanks man. sounds like you had a fun time lol Track car?

They are easily seen around sunset or an overcast day. I can see reflections of them from other cars. They're just really hard to take pictures of

I Did A Thing!

And not a good thing.

The car has burned oil since I bought it. Been checking it every week but I guess it wasn't enough this time. Was rolling and died when I got off the highway, wouldn't start. Towed home, charged the battery and started with a knock.

Stay tuned for pics of engine guts

inside the cat converter, bits of it gets sucked back into the engine and destroy the rings and the motor start burning oil. I thought it was BS but here's the proof

The O2 sensors that were in the headers, the ones after the cats looked normal

Exedy clutch I been beating on since I bought the car, makes a lot of chatter but does good

Tomorrow the heads come off and maybe the bottom end
