Great car to start out with. Thought about a turbo M20 and a stock lsd? That would be a blast of a car. Also maybe Kamotors fender flaressub'd

Buddy gave me his Idle Control Valve (ICV) which I installed today, adjusted and managed to get the Flashing Check Engine Light to shut off!
Also, since I figured it won't be on monster truck suspension for very long and it's got the rally sport bumper on the front it inspired me to go offroading today with it a bit, love this car!

I don't have money for new wheels right now but this yucky back left wheel had a leaky tire due to the chrome peel near the bead so I put on 2 new rear tires compliments of my friend at Discount Tire, free labor and a 50% discount on these new tires!
Scored some free oil from my homies at Jiffy Lube!
Oh and here's a photo of my Guibo before I replaced it

My buddy and I woke up early this morning and had some fun on a togue run together
I broke my shift knob trying to keep up!
I bought a new OEM weighted knob but before I installed it I realized the previous owners de an attempt to make a "short shifter" by grinding off the top
I'm sitting in the BMW of Bellevue dealership parking lot trying to disconnect the ball joint. I removed the shift rod retainer clip under the car and twisted the plastic piece a half rotation and no matter what it would not lift. I was attempting to install this original extra rod I found in the car so I could get the new shifter to stay on without rotating around.
I couldn't manage to get the ball joint disconnected so I just electrical taped the broken shift knob back on and returned the new knob I purchased.
Luckily after driving home I asked my buddy if he had a spare and I scored a nice momo that has 4 small Alan screws that hold the knob in even without the divetted shifter rod.
This really prompted me to want to replace all of the clips, and bushings in the shifter assembly. My friend at BMW Seattle is gonna hook it up with a big discount!

I know condor sells rebuild kits that uses delrin parts. Might be something to look into: http://www.condorspeedshop.com/colle...hort-shift-kit
