E36 318i convertible

This is my E36 cabrio build. nothing amazing though lol

Well this is how she looked before i had picked her up. Was bought by my girlfriends dad from an action, It ha some front end damage.



around the time that it was fixed, i was on the look out for a new car. He had the car sitting for a while so i decided to buy it from him. the whole bimmer thing was new to me but i wanted to something different then my Acura integra.


so $3400 later i was the proud owner of a 97 318i.
The same night i washed and waxed her.

The first thing i did was order some coilovers and new fog lights since the others were broken, One of the wheels was bent and cracked pretty bad, but luckily my friend just so happened to have the wheel i needed for $20

After a couple hours of hard work she was ready, this is as low as i could go with out it rubbing from those big tires.

swapped on corner lights and side marker to clear.



over at my friends shop we swapped out for smaller tires and added extended wheel studs.


Took her to her first big even. NW toy run


Ended up breaking a motor mount from hitting a bump.

A couple months later at the XXX Burger meet With new wheels on

So this happened a bit ago while i was over at my friends. His neighbor backed into it.


So i went off to the junk yard to pull a new door and i got it installed. then it went off to get painted



door came out pretty good

And since it had to go into the shop i decided to do a bit more work to it



Heres the front with the m3 new bumper and euro headlights. Also installed new fogs and painted my kidney grills black.
