    Been Awhile...

Well I was on the grind getting the seat together

But after finishing i began to look it over... the seat itself wasnt square, the pan tilted away and the sides of the rear came in at slighly different angles. using individual strips and tacking them is okay, but im going to redo this with as FEW pieces as possible.

Putting that aside I went onto something else I had been neglecting for quite sometime. the wiring harness. Turns out there isn't actually two halves, because one is a totally separate harness that doesn't go to my motorcycle..go figure. this is, as i have found, a CB160 harness

But, I layed mine out and figured the missing pieces such as the ignition switch and coil....

Now for sometime the idea of sculpting a different tank had been itching the back of my brain. Its more filler than i would like, but one day i may be able to create a tank without.
For now, its laying mud, and sanding.

Nice work, cool to see a bike on here. I have been wanting to build a cafe bike for a long time, they take up way less space! Maybe check into getting some of that thin, tag board material from a craft store, it's thinner than regular card board and may help you get some of those curves you are after.

Thanks you guys! Appreciate the feedback, I love the cafe racer style, its arguably the most fascinating/aesthetic to look at. and yeah working on a motorcycle is nice with the room and expenses, I plan on doing more in the future...

Looks cool I did a cafe\street tracker as my first ever build and had a ton of fun. Its the one project I will never sell! Bikes are cheap enough and small enough to hang onto. Looks good with the metal work on the back.

Thanks Brotha, planning to make a big move in June so im split between holding onto it or selling...

Quick upload, Got to work this past Sunday on the gauge bracket, decided on using one bracket for the gauges and the headlight. Already rough cut but no pictures yet, just templates from sunday.

Also pretty much finished sanding the tank, using spray polyester primer to finish the lines off. photo 20160129_195956_zps84lxsjmn.jpg
