    Had the tires mounted today

Here's a potato teaser (coils maxed out all around, NOT settled)

Btw, new indicators are on the way.

Sorry to focus on this, but how come the rest of the world has these awesome small car-carrier trailers, and here in the US of A, the smallest auto trailer you come by tends to be 2000lbs+? I wish I could find a small auto trailer that didn't have 26" tires and a GVW of 10,000lbs. Props for saving a MK1

    Thanks guys

They are named "OptiVent", I guess it's a german product.

Did something to the RSs today. Three of them were leaking heavily so after the removal of the ancient aluminium valves it was obvious; the valve holes were corroded and as said, the valves also weren't the newest if not still the first ones.

So I got some cute special tools

Cleaned it with the drill and applied some metal polish

    Test-fitted new 24k hidden valves

And added red center caps, here's a little teaser

The rims are far from perfect but as stated earlier I will not disassemble them because for their age they're in a pretty good condition and I want to leave them as original as I can. The red center caps are just for fun, of course I store the original ones.
Hopefully they will be leakless but the sealant is still looking good and isn't brittle at all.

Still gonna try to get them a bit cleaner and polish up the bolts but for now I'm quite happy with the outcome.

    MORE RED TO COME !

    Thank you!

Today was the passenger sides turn. Mounted the camber plate and adjusted the coils at the lowest setting. Took the wheels to the local tire shop and after that buffed the RS.
Unfortunately didn't have the cam with me so this time the potatoes ought to do.

Out of boredom once again fitted the HTN. Sure looks killer but swiss road traffic act sucks, you know. Maybe I go with narrower tires and fit them just for show but the front would be way too wide with 8J +12. However that may be we will see.

    Hi.

Coils are maxed out now - it will settle a bit in the back once driven, in the front I've to work something out. Possibly have to remove the bias spring.
The camber plates bring -2 degrees, so nothing too wild. Tires 185/45 vs 165/45, have to take them to the next tire shop.

A lot of stuff on the way..

    Thanks guys

Tires are ordered, should arrive at my place soon. Keenest Nankang 165/45s to eat them, haha. Currently I'm clarifying if I have to shorten my driveshafts or if it's done with removing some useless plastic ring inside it. Let's go below ground level.
