  • My "build" for my Z3 but Not Really

I had no intention of buying a car this year or for a while but then I got the itch. Bought a 2001 BMW Z3 2.5 roadster.

***This isn't going to be a drastic "build" this year/season but if I keep the car long enough it'll hopefully turn into something fun/nice/not too boring.

Bought it in March 2015 from Texas (I'm in Minnesota):

    Faded BMW roundels and all.

    Bought wheels:

    17x8.5 / 9.5 Eclairs

Got them split so they could be cleaned up and powder'd a different color...

    got them back...

Got them on the car finally lowered on some BC Coilovers.

excuse the half cell phone pics/half DSLR pics haha

Now I just gotta get some more small cosmetic things/add-ons, do the interior, and figure out what non-BMW engine I want to put in it next year...

Nothing amazing but it's been interesting... few months with maintenance and cosmetic stuff and we'll just leave this thread here so I can add more later!

Crazy how most cars really just need a drop and a nice fitting set of wheels to look amazing. It looks great man!

Yeah... I wish I could do more but these will have to do for now.. as the fronts already rub with the underside of the hood a little - getting smaller tires tomorrow and the rears could have another 15-20mm of lip but that's just gonna have to wait.
