How can you not find a car you like for 10k??
I can't afford a car for £500 and yet I've still got some ideas haha.
Also if you like the E30 M3 why don't you get a non M E30? I dont know much about the prices over the pond but here in England you can get a spanking clean E30 320i for well under £5,000

and if they have a small driveway they can rent a storage unit or just go all out and get him his own garage! but really if youre still paying attention to this thread. i spent 5k on my car, you can get a nice car for that much. ive seen bugeye wrx's all over lately for that much too. the best thing is to wait to spend the least on a good car and then throw all the excess money into it!

    Bingo.

Judging from what I see on Hipstergram nowadays, trust fund builds are all the craze. When I see a 17-20 year old rocking a $30,000+ car with a full vinyl wrap, $5,000 3-piece wheels, bags (those 3 things are pretty much neccesities for t3h e-famez nowadays), etc. I can only assume that they themselves are not funding everything. Or anything for that matter.

Never said they couldnt. Lol besides you dont know if theyre financing for him. Which would be cheap as fuck. Like I said its impractical. They could have a small driveway or something dawg.

Lus146, I myself owned a car when I was 15 back Xmas 2013... It was a 1965 major project that sat in the grass.... Nothing got done to it and I sold it. My point is you should keep your purchase on the up end of your budget... So things stay simple work wise.
A good car would be a Subaru of the early 2000s becaue you can actually get a WRX for a little under 10k (sometimes) or you can get an e46 non m3 and have a super clean slate to work with... There is a lot more but you said Subaru and Bmw. Good luck in the future
$10,000 budget, I'm sure his parents could afford 2 cars and insurance.

Also, don't buy a car to "stance", buy it because you really like the car, and what it has to offer. Then modify it. Buying a car for scene points is ridiculous. You can't really be a car guy if all you want to do is "stance" it, and that's all you care about.

You could get an E30 but an E36 is little easier to work on and get low,

I could go on about how the e36 is better and in your price range but the e30 is really good too
