  • The Driftless Miata Build

Well where do I even start? I've owned a bunch of cars and I'm 17. (No my parents didn't pay for them)

I'm a very big toyota fan and hope to be back in one in the future. Meanwhile im having fun with a miata.

My two favorite cars I owned

Well, onto the miata stuff. 1995 1.8 miata with 125k on her. Shes got an LSD The previous owner died sadly and I bought it off his family.

I got her in the middle of january and stored it from the cold and salty Wisconsin winter.

When I took her out in April it was a sad old man car.

There were a few things wrong with the car and I'll skip that stuff. The interior had fake stick on wood everywhere and wood wheel and handbrake have which have since been replaced with black

Then I saw a hard top for sale locally for extremely cheap and bought it just to sell for profit and get coilovers. the car looked really good with it but I bought it as a convertible summer car so I let it go for a good price.

Now that we are all caught up to current day, we can start the REAL build :P

I daily drove the car to school and such and didnt have much time or money for mods but now that its summer we're ready to build.

Sadly, I had to sell my fancy drag wheels to be able to afford some stuff, I'll get better wheels soon but for now im rocking $100 wheels.

I decided the tan top had to go so I got some SEM top notch vinyl paint and got to work

Coilovers should be here on Tuesday. I went with the flyin miata vmaxx classic coilovers which are a nice street/autocross coilover from a great company, the most expensive and high quality item on the car

This is where the build gets serious.I have big plans for the car but I'm just not sure on which one is best but shes going to be unique for sure.
