NOBODY parks in the parking lot where I work :P but I'm currently at another dealer and yes he don't mind me parking with the other employess in the lot lol. We don't have demo car so all cars are different anyway.




On to a little more update, kinda.

I've put one some grenade valve cap!!! Why? because my car is the bomb.

Today I gave the BMW a brake of it's daily duty and ride one of my bike to work, this beautiful 1973 g3ss. This bike is 42 years old, almost twice my age. It's got a 90cc 2 stroke engine and it start at the first kick everytime, even after a 6 months of winter storage.

UPDATE TIME!!!

Hell yeah, some good one while I'm at it!!

Ok so I did a few things, first I put on this "Simply Clean" sticker. Because my car is just that!



I wasn't done with the stickers. Not at all. So I got right to work... First I took off my front bumper, painted it flat black then proceeded with the stickers....



Finished product! Sticker bomb bumper! it took 272 stickers.

I then painted my lower skirts flat black, I think it gives a realy nice touch to the whole of the car.



I also changed my vavle cap, from the Bomb to the King, (actualy got 2 crown up front 2 grenade in the back so I'm still the bomb)



Everything gets better with time!! My grill is quite rusted now it looks even better then it did! With poor master chief thats lost a hand.



Rear stiches rusted, too!



Last but not least... I've put some halos in the lights! I've plugued them with side signals so they light up on pos 1, but they flash and change colors weirdly when I use my signal LOL so I'll have to find some other place to plug them. I'd like them to open on pos 1 anybody got some suggestion on where to plug them?

man i was bored at work, this thread had me entertained for half my shift!
Your car has some serious 'neck snap ability'! I really like genuine rat cars, but usually not much in to the rat 'look' thing... But i have to admit, i like yours, a lot!!!
BMW's are my biggset love! I daily a 1994 e34 530i and have a e23 as a project. Have had some e30's, an e36, and an e39, so for a true beemer boy your car can be a hard thing to swallow
But after i've seen how bad the rust was and stuff, and how you feel about the car, i can totally understand why go about your busuniss the way you do! It must be a really relaxing feeling not having to worry about anything when you drive that car...

I also haven't seen many e46's that pull off 16 inch wheels the way you do! Love the way they sit under your car, like the black too...

And on a side note: Funny how you people talk about that 2 litre engine as a 'small displacement' engine Here in Belgium 80% of the e46's are either the 1.6/1.8 4 cilinder models or the 2.0 diesels... If you have a 6 cilindre petrol engine, your the man over here :p

Look, I understand having fun and not caring, and I feel the same way about my 323 e46. That means it turned into a drift car that I don't care about crashing. People are staring at you when you drive this and not for the right reason.

Yet another car on here that I would not step foot in. SW has changed.

glad to entertain! Thanks for all the kind word it's realy appreciated! In north america the 320i with the 2.2 l6 was the smallest engine available.. No 4cyl and not even a diesel was offered here!! I wish we had the diesel version!

But I'd like to ask a genuine question, just to try and help me get my read around what you're going for: when the girl said that it looked like shit, were you just like "Yeah I know L0L" or did you defend it and say that you liked it? Just want to know where YOU stand on it. Do you think it looks good, or are you driving it 'ironically'?

I think my car is all flavors of awesome. I'm in the camp of liking it off course!!

I'm not one to defend it with fervor though. If somebody doesn't like it, it's all good. I take the critics with a smile, saying that my car is indeed not everyones cup of tea! In the end it's about personnal taste and you can't argue with that. I'm not gonna try and convince people this car looks good. But I think it does, some people think the same, some don't. It's as easy as that for me!!

I do not venture this far during my thought process when doing my mods. I mean, I do not consider if what I want to do is actualy a fad.

My though process goes like that :

First I have an idea.

Second, I consider said idea, if I like it or not.

Finaly, If I like it I proceed foward. If I decide not to then I don't.

I consider only myself when doing stuff, independently of trends and fad and other peoples opinion. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'll do something because I like it, not because it is trendy.


So I guess no, I'm not trying to hit every fad since 2008. Have I done it anyway? Maybe.

I actualy would like that a lot. The burned finish is just so nice. But I don't know how I could possibly realisticly do that without damaging the car. I though maybe just burning the paint with a torch on the exterior would work.. ? I don't know?
