      about the steering wheel
      how about converting it into something like this


      since i knew nothing about this car, i quickly checked it online

      aparantly the oem steering wheel isn't that different from the merc one i posted

            I fixed as many cracks as I could see. First coat of primer.





















            I forgot to paint the horn button
            Next step is to assemble the chrome / horn button in the middle of the wheel.







            Need to adjust the doors again and install the glue on rubber seals for the body & doors.

            Waiting for the upholstery still :-x

                      I have a hard-on for cars that are painted this well, paired with awesome attention to detail. Props to you for restoring things properly, too- most would just give up and buy an off-the-shelf steering wheel.

                            I love this stuff . Cant wait to see the finished product , kudos to finding a preserving a car that seems to be left out of peoples eyes. I personally like it !
