Well I guess it's time for me to stop creeping on everyone and make a thread myself, so here goes nothing. I have a 89 s10 base model as they come no options what so ever 2.5 iron duke backed up with a good ole t5 trans I know guys I know it's a race car it has no problem getting the ladies wet (mostly from tears because of how much of a turd it is) but anyways I've had it for the past 3 years I got it for a hs graduation present and all it needed was a new head gasket supposedly so replaced that still couldn't get it running and with the truck being three hrs away it made it kind of hard Never could get it running until recently, ended up replacing every sensor, fuel pump, fuel lines, ECM, injector, distributor. yada yada yada.. Well come to find out it was out of time and had three bent push rods fixed that re adjusted the valves and it's been good since *knocks on wood* so here she is sitting at the shop before we could get her running

Then FINALLY got her home happy as hell

After that I did a bunch of small things like replace all the lights with clear housings, badgeless grill, painted the bumper, black just cleaned everything up really well so it didn't look like too much of a turd

And yes that's about a inch of water in the bottom of that headlight and it still worked just fine lol

Next step something had to happen with this whole height issue this thing was way to damn high! So I traded the saw bar off my old bagged s10 for a set of three in springs then got a set of 3 inch blocks for the back

And who said lowered trucks can't haul things!

Also don't know if yall saw but I sticker bombed the back window a bit and put a wood grain steering wheel in there

And by this point I'm sure you all are probably bored out of your mind saying this is gay it's just some broke ass kid with a ugly farm truck well here's something that might make you stay! back about a year ago I picked up a set of 18x8 18x10 Porsche wheels for 200$ with tires and well they were um.... Well the guy REALLY liked doing burnouts! Like a lot!!! So ended up picking up a set of 235/40s for 40$ for the front and a set of 295/35s for 20$!!!!!! for the rear next up I have to order my 2" adapters to go from 5x120 to 5x130

I just had to look at them lol

Did all my measurements and fount out the wheels will stick out about 3/4" so did so research and come to find out the factory s10 flares extended the finder 3/4" so of hunting for those I went! Ended up finding a set at a junk yard off a blazer

The fronts fit fine of course but the backs have to be redrilled because the holes are off. But that's pretty much where I'm at right now broke as hell saving to by my adapters I still wanna get a drop spindle for the front and new tubular upper control arms then alinement. Also need to pull a leaf in the back and install my qa1 shocks all around, along with finding a 2wd blazer to rob the front and rear sway bar off of! So stay tuned!
