Thanks man I really appreciate it. I have never had that but it sounds delicious. My go to Peanut Butter is Duclaw Sweet Baby Jesus Porter. I'm by no means a porter guy, but i enjoy me some Duclaw.

Beer is bad, keep on good liquor. My brother is a self described "beer connoisseur" and gained like 30 lbs in the last year. We don't want to see fat albert drifting around an rx7, or you might need v8 to haul you around. Or just drink it in moderation, but where's the fun in that?


Have you tried mixing beers? When I go out and get a couple pints I drink them down half way, mix them, sip down again, mix a few samples in and chug. Don't know why but I don't particularly like one kind of beer. I just kind of like the "neutral" flavor I get from mixing a bunch of them together. It makes me forget that beer makes me fat.

Never mixed beers. I am getting fatter though. Desk job and lots of beer = fat.Oh Whale.

Ok time for a serious update. I have been visiting the garage as frequently as my schedule allows me. 1st thing I wanted to address was that I really wanted more poke. Since I pulled the hell out of my rear quarters, I might as well use all that extra space. I had some bolt on 15mm spacers from PBM. Basically you have to cut your studs to run these, or put a spacer behind them so that your factory studs don't stick out. So basically, long story short, I got a little cut happy with the cutting wheel and grinder and removed too much stud. After I put the spacer on, I could only thread the bolts on about 3 turns. So i beat those out with hammer (how I fix most things on my car) and ran down to Advance to buy five more. I realized that I couldn't press full size studs in without removing the spindle... And since you have to be an engineering genius to create Mazdas (jk i mean a complete idiot) they decided to make it when you remove the rear spindle, you have to replace the wheel bearing in all... Basically, I refused to do all this shit just for 15mm of poke. So I bought five more studs from Advance and got cutting. Little did I know, these studs are made of the softest metal on the plant. While I was pressing them in (when I say pressing, I mean torquing a lug on there that will gradually pull them on, they began to just strip.. At first I thought it was just the one.. so I did another... mistake. This is what I ended up with..



But with much perseverance and 20 McNuggets, I came up with a brilliant plan to get them out. Obviously, I'm an engineering genius.



So now I need to order five OEM studs so that I can cut them up and redo it all, cause guess what, I got one side right




So while tackling all this I had a friend help me to start removing the sound deadening. First off, before I say anything, REMOVING SOUND DEADENING IS THE WORST IDEA PLZ DONT EVER DO THIS TO YOURSELF U R WORTH IT..

Anyways, I have been unable to get my hands on sound deadening because I live in BFE WV... So I am using a friends heat gun at 1200 degrees to melt the shit out. It actually went alot better than I thought. Here are the progress pics.









The clear on this will be done with rainbow flake, so it should be pretty rad. I still have ALOT of sound deadening to take out, I was just making sure that I liked the color and also this gave me motivation to get it out since it sucks so much but now I know it will looks dope so maybe I'll get off my ass and do it.. maybe.

Now I just need to fix the other studs, finish removing sound deadening, paint interior, and fix my ebrake and I may be able to go to my first event. If youre still reading this I love you. Thanks for all your support guys. Cheers!

Small Update.

Found a place close to me that sells dry ice. I'll be using that as opposed to the heat gun which I think is much more work. Problem is, I won't be able to get it during the week due to my work schedule so it'll have to wait. I would do it this weekend, but I'll be at clubloose opening moves. I'm not taking the RX, but ill be there in the evo, so if you're going and you see me, tell me I'm ugly.

The wrap on my mirrors looked really shitty and I was tired of that making the rest of the car look bad so I took it off and dipped my mirrors black. Not my favorite look, but it looks better than peeling wrap so it'll do for now. That's all I got for now.

Quick update - Prep work for painting sucks ass

So a good friend got me a quart of the white that the interior will be done with. I decided to stay on it and remove the rest of the sound deadening in the car so that we could make some progress. Finally got my hands on about 15lbs of dry ice and it really helped to remove it all. I would say I saved about a good 15-20 lbs of weight now that it is all out. Still need to go over the front portion of the car and degrease and get the glue residue off the floor before painting. The back portion of the car was ready for a primer basecoat, so that basically what this update it. I have been going to the garage quite frequently lately. After attending the first Englishtown event of the year, I've caught a second wind. I will return with more updates as they come.

Sorry that my updates have sucked lately.. Prep work is terrible. I am really bad about wanting to do things right and I have been taking my time on making sure this interior is going to come out nice. Still getting all the gunk and shit out of the interior. Was able to lay some primer in the rear, now just working on getting the front all cleaned up. Also spacer on passenger side is on and now I am just waiting for studs to come in to do the driver side. I promise this car will be cool one day.

Sooo.. I got tired of paint prep and decided that I just wanted to drive so the car left the garage and made it to my house. Felt amazing to drive it around even though it was only for a few hours.

Currently, it is sitting in my driveway with the wrap almost completely torn off. I have decided not to dump alot of money into the evo so its time to get the RX exactly where my vision is taking me, and it wont be cheap. Future plans are below

-Put rear camber back in (because my NA 13b cant spin 11s with zero camber & fitment is poop)
- sell RacingBeat exhaust and put in straight 2.5 with some sick pipes.
- paint interior (still haven't got around to it)
- sand car down to paint (won't tease you with color like last time)
- repair/replace beat up kit pieces
- bride zeta I driver seat
- foresight wing
- D-MAX front and rear overs
- lower offset on current wheels/trade wheels
- add stickers to the windows until visibility is 0%
- moar JDM goodies that I'm not remembering at this moment
- all the dumb shit I usually do to make the car look gay like I always do


Also, something else may be falling in place that will stunt all the above. Its not 100% yet, but a close friend of mine is swapping a 1j in his FD and I may be able to snag his 13b. Hopefully.

I have been spending alot of my money on trips and hanging with friends, which is cooler than cars, but this also really REALLY motivates me to get my shit together. As soon as my bills and other priorities get taken care of, I will be stockpiling cool parts for the RX again. So yeah, hopefully its not months until I post again.For those of you who are reading, thanks again.
