thanks for the compliments everyone! i couldnt agree more, lesson learned.. lol. dont do any sort of wrap, ever! its just not worth it. youll never get the depth of paint, and itll never look as good as paint does in all honesty. theres a reason why its half the cost to wrap the car. im sure some people will die hard vouch for wrap, but based on experience, i just cant ever justify it ever again.
and yes, i did decide against the vents. it was honestly going to be too much work to get them to fit properly the way i wanted them to. i like vents to be flush, and they wouldve stuck out about a quarter inch, and i **** that. personal preference i guess. anyways, ill post more pics soon. thank you all again for the feedback! =)

Did you decide against the hood vents? I was curious what they'd look like installed and done right.

im against wrap because it just isnt the same as paint, and yet costs the same, if not more depending on colors.
i spent $700 on 60 feet of 3m light ivory and $1500 on a partial sponsor through a local shop for install. no one told me that it was going to need a ridiculous amount attention in order to maintain its adhesion to the car.
from what ive realized, wrap needs to be washed a very certain way, left in the sun alot to retain its tackyness, and needs to be stretched and refitted regularly in tough areas with sharp corners to stay clean and un noticeable.
for 2200, i couldve just had the damn thing painted originally and been done with it. id rather detail and paint correct than use a heat gun and risk tearing shit all the time.
oh and lastly, nothing will ever compare to the depth and richness of paint, no matter what people say, paint is definitely not dead. lol.
