  • WakaWaka; Where's the milk & cookies n cream build thread!! (W124T)

Ello' there ladies and gents. It's been a while since I have been on here and after a few rides, jobs, and a big relocation from the East Coast to Colorado I'm finally situated and on to bigger and better things. I just picked up an 88' Mercedes Benz 300TE (S124 Estate) and figured I would do a little something to it. Here's some spec to her:

    Year: 1988
    Make: Mercedes Benz
    Model: 300TE (Estate Wagon)
Mileage: 260,765 (purchased it at 259,600 3 weeks ago)
    Engine: L6 3.0 Liter
    Interior: Beige (Leather Seats)
Stock Wheels: 15x6.5 (15 Slot) Forgot what they are called lol

    My ideas and plans:
    - Tint out windows ---> COMPLETE
    - Dropped ---> COMPLETE
    - Wheels (maybe 17x9 & 17x10 or 17x10 square haha)
    - Full Body Respray
    - Euro Spec Headlights
    - Euro Spec Tail lights
    - ...and a bunch of random stuff I think of

So let's have at it and see what happens yah?!??
And if you have any great ideas or input feel free to let me know

Oh yeah, Tint = Complete (Front Doors 35%, Rear Doors and Back 5% Limo)

Now some interior pics.. Some flaws here and there but overall it's pretty clean

Took her over to a local shop to see what she looked like under and get quoted for a custom setup.. not bad I must say..

Quoted @ $400 even for a full custom setup from the cat back forging the 2 two inch pipes to a single with a magna-flow 2.5inch straight pipeand 12inch muffler

Taking a trip to the East Coast June 23rd through the 30th so will be happening after I get back

For what it's worth, if you're expecting any performance increases out of an aftermarket exhaust, you're not going to see them on a stock M103. More racket, yes, more performance, probably not.

Oh no performance wise Im not shooting for it. I just want a little rumble, plus having to replace the piping because of rust.. I might as well get something that I like you know.

Thanks though brother. You've been a great help so far with all my Q's haha

That's what happens when the previous owner thinks he can fix anything..

Hey it holds so I can't complain at the moment 👍

Looking good, will be a promising build!

I own a pair of these, and I might be parting my 300TE out which has the eurospec headlights.
Not sure how you plan on fitting 17x9 or 10 in the front, it's very hard to go wide in the front with these cars. My E320 especially as it has the S class brakes on it, makes it a very tight fit for most wheels to even clear.
