Looks like it's trying to be a TVR Tuscan or something! It's funky! I like the fastback style roof on an mx5. Would like to see that roof on an MX5 with a normal front end too...
kinda like it... needs something other than the standard engine in though like a small v8 or rotary, I think it's trying to look like a TVR though rather than setting your imagination free and making something better looking

They also do 1UZ conversions with ZF BMW Manual transmissions:
There is a Targa version available as well. So top off fun still. Think with the V8 in it will be awsome. Has some TVR styling but its got a lot thats taken it away from that as well and made it its own. Lots of cars look like TVR styling. Look at the Ascari lol. Only so many shapes to play with.
The lines are interesting. I like the fastback roof line a lot, but the interaction between the door and the front fender and much of the tail are pretty unsuccessful, IMO.
I'll be interested to see what happens with the three pieces of glass for the fastback section. That's often the single hardest thing on a kit car project. See also the 1552 Jetta coupe, which I'm not sure ever wound up with satisfactory rear quarter glass.
I've seen this car crop up on mx5 nutz a few times. Pretty cool and very unique build. I quite like the TVR'esque styling! VW UP! lights on the rear aren't they?
