  • Pretending to know how to drift in an SR20DE S13

    Yo
    SO
    I bought an NA S13.
Help a mate slap it together kinda. Then I bought it.
Drifted for the first time ever.
Learnt some shit about the cars past doing it.
IE lots of dodgy little things and just worn things not being fixed.
Turns out going full lock on hard throws bends tie rods. So gotta fix that.
Needs Solid diff and cradle mounts. Also caster arms. And wider LCA's.

ANyway here is it when I got it. Then after skids.

After I beat on it for 2 days at Rahliegh raceway.

Tried to mungi for the second time ever. Threw it to hard. Understeer into embankment. RIP nice Nismo rep bar.

Would have been the first lap. Never done a real skid before on purpose so takin it easy. Theeeeeeen No more photos because i wasn't cool enough I think.

Then Aftermath of Bulk 80kph entries and throwing it in as hard as I could all day, Also not my hand. Mine are much girlier then this one.

Plans are to thrash it more. Have some 15mm over fenders. New guards to go on. Buy some Work VS SD's and skid on meisters. Do some other small suspension mods. Buy a Nardi. Do more skids.

Honestly I would but the rear drivers side qtr is half mong. This is an easy cover up. I'm no panel beater either so yea. They are super small so its not that bad I guess.

Also this is pretty much the wheel I'll be buying in the next 2-3 weeks. Keens

Look like a good start to a side sliding machine! Is it mainly track or do you also DD it? Next time you go bring a go pro and upload that stuff or at least catch some angle lock photos

I see what you mean. I just **** to see people not do the things they like because it's "played out" or not up to another's standards. Plus i still love overfenders after seeing them many times

They are fiberglass replicas of the OEM Nismo Aero kit. The whole kit is fake nismo aero lol

                            Update time

Decided due to QLD laws (me being defected...) and what not to keep this 4 stud and NA and to just make it a cool street hack and buy 2 more cars early next year, One to tow and one with boost.

Anyways, Sold the 5 stud, Bought some new 25mm extended LCA's with new ball joints and Super pro bushes installed already for stupid cheap. Got some S14 Tie rods and new ends, GKteck Tie rod spacers and some Caster arms with SP bushes in them.
Also picked up some Enkie 15's with new rubber for a good deal. Not super cool but not bad. Installed The GKtech Solid Gbox mount and serviced it. Here it is before LCA install.

Next up, Widers 15's, Lower it again, New diff with 4.3 and new fenders And some arms and stuff in the rear end.

Also Entered the Queensland Autumn Matsuri

Then the month after is the Rahliegh Matsuri No1
