Thanks guys! I'm still a bit on the fence about bagging it honestly, just not sure what else I really want to do. I've always wanted to bag a car so might as well give it a try.
I think you will like the bags. I have had a few bagged cars and had a lot of fun with them, especially with how different air ride is now and can be setup like a coilover. Nothing beats a great ride, and not having to be stupid low all the time.

Good to hear, thanks for the response! Static has been fun but I think I'll like taking the car out and driving/showing it a lot more with bags. Just need to spend a bunch of money on more parts now.
dont get me wrong i love the red e36. but why not spend your money on the m3? bag the m3, wheels for the m3. with the setups avalible today, you would still be able to drive it hard.
Long time no update. Just got back from a trip from Leavenworth last weekend and the car did awesome.
I swapped out my 12mm spacers for 7mm before we left and didn't rub, scrape or anything all weekend and I drove the car HARD. Probably the most fun I've had driving it in the 4 years I've had it now. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the bags still but after this weekend I'm questioning if it is a good idea.
In preparation for the drive I fixed my AC finally.
I ran dye through the system and found a few leaks. Replaced all of the O-rings in the entire system, swapped the dryer and had a shop do a vacuum/recharge and it blew cold as Hell all weekend in 95+ heat.
Didn't take any pictures really but this is about the amount of tear down I had to do to find them:
Here are a few pics from this weekend I took:
My buddy Patrick's super clean turbo M3 he just finished building:
John's (slowprogress) insanely clean and cool E30 M3, well deserved star of the weekend:
