The factory carburetor on the Celica went out on me 2 weeks ago. Since this carburetor of course had no available rebuild kit I sent it to Carburetor Exchange in California which specializes in older Toyota carbs and they pieced together a kit from other Toyota models. They did an amazing job. They even put the carb on a motor and set everything including my specified RPM. Got it back in the mail and on the car last night and its running amazing. Highly recommend them for anyone needing specialized carb work.

    Lol. Thank you.

I'll be sending the carburetor out for a rebuild this week in hopes to get it running a little better. I'll pretty much be driving it the way it sits until the engine craps out on me or rust comes upon it. When that happens I'm sure it'll be getting a body restoration and a new engine. Hopefully that's all several years down the road.

'69 Mustang, which is also what influenced the design of the 2015.

I love this Celica btw. Had a chance to get a black one a few years ago, but really had no way to do anything with it. Needed a few things to be road worthy, but had no way to fix it.

(yeah, I know those are 67-68 tails on this one, but this is the best angle on a white '69 I could find in a short search)

Figured it was time I post an Update.

Front and Rear Suspension along with the Big Brakes are all on. Car has been aligned twice as I played with height adjustment. She is right where I want her now. I am very happy with it all!

Here she is. Still need to get some better pics.

I also Installed a Nardi steering wheel, Works Bell hub, and a new weighted shift knob.

Took her out this weekend to the Uncle Dave Macon Festival Car Show which turned out to be pretty much all Domestic. Surprisingly however I placed second in Pre-1990 Sports Cars which was nice.
