Hello everyone! Here today to share my 01' LSB M3.
After owning a few bmw's, I decided it was time to chase down a long time dream car of mine. Almost overnight, the idea tuned into a full blown obsession. I was searching for m3's online far away from my small town in Washington. I would take any chance to sneak off at work and get on craigslist. My search went on for about 6 months, mainly because I knew exactly what I wanted and refused to budge. I knew that I had to find an LSB 6 Speed Coupe.
After searching high and low, I was chatting with a friend of mine, who let me know that he was thinking of selling his 01' LSB. I told him " I can be there on Friday ", almost jokingly.
He let me know it needed a little work, and we eventually agreed to a very fair price.
One thing led to another, and sure enough I flew to San Fransisco at the end of the week to pick it up. We hung out for the night, and then I took off and drove back to Washington.
The 780 mile drive made for an excellent time to test the limits of my 14 year old bavarian dream machine. I purchased the car with AP V2 Headers, BC Coilovers, and a Scorza CSL trunk already installed. I was very happy about this, as all three of those modifications would have been essential purchases anyways.
I got the car home, and immediately got to work.
I started off my overhauling the front suspension. New control arms and Poly Bushings. I then changed all of my filters, oil, etc other boring maintenance. I purchased a Supersprint Unresonated X Pipe, and an El Diablo v1 Section 3 off of a friend, locally.
For the aesthetics, I wanted to go with a race inspired look.
So I fit my Forcewerkz CF Side skirt extension on, as well as a ACS replica lip I found locally, atlas until i can get my hands on a different one. Black gloss grilles were also installed. I chose to leave my dark ambers on, since I grew to like how they complimented the LSB.
For the wheels, I put my 19" Rotiform TMB's on, and went as low as I can go.
I'm currently in the process of installing my camber arms, and getting them to fit proper.

The car is still a work in progress, and it's amazing how much I've become more obsessed with it than any of the other vehicles I've owned in my life.
All Photo's by me, will be adding more !
