    Fair enough, if we all liked/did the same thing the car scene would be boring!

    And the hub bolt went first I think, so it was an issue with that rather than the coilover! When installing them we had a lot of issues with that corner (the other 3 were fine)...very odd!

      Drivers rear was the issue for me, original strut was seized in the hub, ended up cutting the lower mount and bush. Then the 10mm end of the rear upper arm snapped undoing the 21mm nut. Cut that off too lol.

        Oh, alright then. Assuming from the pictures, you were guys blow torching the hub to get the strut out. Maybe you overheated or over fatigued the bolt so it snapped.
        I know what pain can those rear struts be. I was lucky as hell with my seven, as she'd had all struts replaced a while before I got her.I soaked it with WD40 prior to the job and it was all easy peasy. But in my previous e34 that was a nightmare to get those rears out!

        Good luck with her. I'll be following the progress of course, as every e38

            I've should have seen this but I don't remember it, I swear I walked around UD with my eyes closed! Half the shots I've seen since I don't remember. Looks sweet though man, love the 'rocco as well
