Greetings SW, wanted to tell you about my new project. I picked up a 1981 VW caddy from a buddy of mine for cheap along with a MKII GTI as a parts/doner car. It's pretty straight body wise, no rust of any kind really. The truck has already started to be stripped of everything in prep for a full color change from black to hellrot red. The GTI is supplying its motor, wiring harness, ecu, transmission, dash and whatever else I can make fit into the truck. The motor is a built 8v done by a mechanic from APR in Opelika. The plans are the color change, lower, new wheels, new interior because the original is trash and tan, I want to do all black instead. Swap in the dash from the GTI and new GR steering wheel with quick release, small bumpers for the front and a roll pan for the rear. Lmk what you guys think and I'm open to suggestions for anything.
