  • House of Volkswagen

So guys i thought id just quickly shed some light on what us dubbers down in Aus get up to.
My very close mates and i have a vast love for cars and atm its Volkswagen's, i used to be a bit of a JDM fan boy before i realised theres bigger and better things.

House of Volkswagen is pretty much just 3 close mates at a house in the Heart of Sydney Australia working on their cars and having a good time doing it, we are brothers more than friends.

quick update on the cars we own and what is soon to come

    We will start with me.

im a 17 year old from Sydney and i used to own a 1978 Euro Front MK1 Golf, i had lots of fun working on it before it got stolen, and now I'm about to buy a rarely seen mk3 golf cl Coupe, like i said you don't see many on the roads in Aus, and mines a US spec as well so i get all the goodies.

Onto to my closest mate/ brother James

He is also another 17 year old from Aus but has a bit more knowledge than me with some things when it comes to Volkswagens, he's owned more vr6's mk3's than i can think of.
about 2 hondas both ED civics and overall the best bloke you'll meet. he now owns a 1996 mk3 VR6 Golf that has a vento front and a few other goodies.

Now last but not least the bloke that will do a lot of the work with his experience with Volkswagen over the years. Nick He's 21 and loves what he does !!

now Nick over the years has gone through a few cars
starting off in a honda civic and owning a GC8 subaru wagon for one day, and a silvia for one day ( both engines blew up lel )
then moving to volkswagen and getting his '80 MK1 Golf 2door
Which now is Paint-less, engine-less and is being rebuilt or possibly scrapped

he also had a bagged mkV Golf which is no longer here with us today as well (RIP Car accident, luckily not his fault )

now he owns his Hilux, and his new Late Westmoreland MK1 Caddy.

Now mk1 Caddy's in Australia, are one of the rarest Volkswagens you can get here, he owns 1 of 4 in australia, it has a built Gti engine from a mk4 with a ko4 turbo running 23psi of boost at the front wheels at about 189kw, around about 215HP

Now thats us, we are Family and we love what we do.10424337_10152924530704797_169010012884040948_n.jpg

i suggest you keep an eye on us as our cars grow, i will upload progress of all of our cars onto this thread, but i will also have a separate thread for my Mk3 Golf CL Coupe when i buy it this week.

    Cheers guys!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers man, we keep things close just how we are haha

so sadly i didn't end up buying the MK3 CL as it was a piece of shiz and i would of had to put in away too much cash to get it to look "good" in any way possible.
But i did end up test Driving a Red MK4 VR6 Bora/Jetta on sunday and i really loved it, good power, good handling and i think I'm going to buy it haha.

for James's MK3 VR6 Golf, we have been working on more and more as we have a show this weekend VW Nationals 2015 and we are going for 'Best MK3' at the show so we got our hands on some newer Merc wheels and fitted them up. but the tires were way to f**king big for the car and was wrecking the guard.

so now its running 165/40 on a 8j

so it looks much better and won't ruin his guards, it still needs 12mm spacers to fit properly ahah, also we installed the new coils ( JOM's ) last weekend and looks much much better.

for the mk1 caddy how ever, nothing new so far and same goes for the mk1 golf nothing new.
the caddy is still getting its driveshafts rebuilt since we mucked em up.

il have video from the show and more photos of both the vr6 mk3 and the caddy next week after the show on Sunday.

          Til next time peoples
