I understand if you're trying to save money because that's why I got reps but you were able to buy an e30 M3. They look amazing on the car I'm just curious as to why. Any plans on what you're going to do with it yet?
Genuine BBS E50 are actually centre lock rims and magnesium, so expensive and potentially fragile. These are obviously 5 stud but and whilst copies of the originals, they are really high quality. The may be reps' but they're not cheap either, at about £2 500 a set ($3 600 US) so took a while to save for. I'm lucky to have an M3 but am just a regular guy, on a regular wage and by no means wealthy. I don't drink, smoke or go clubbing either and ALL my spare cash goes on the car.

    Thanks for positive comments guys.

Spotted on a few forum too.

Well the sensible leather interior option didn't last long.

Opted for GrpA throttle pedal assembly.

Also got busy with replacing all engine sensors and 'O' rings that seal the air box to the ITB's.

Thinking about going with a side exit exhaust but need to look into the potential for valve damage. I assume due to less back pressure?

Have also had to replace the fuel pump. The next task is a GrpA gear shift and replacing all the bushes in the linkage. As the box is coming out to do that, I'm thinking a lightened flywheel could be a good option?

Well I decided to go with carpets and leather Recaro to replace my tired old race seats & harnesses. Obviously it's much quieter in the cabin now but not too quiet. The rear seat back is wrapped up and safely stored away, as they're quite sought after and valuable now. Obviously I would need to remove the cage were I too fit that and I like the added strength the cage gives. I need to lose those nasty mats with the red piping though!

Sorry for the late update but my old E30 is finally back home. While I was waiting for it though, I snagged myself a set of BBS E50 reps in 5x120. They're staggered 8 & 9J with 215 & 245/40 tyres respectively. They were gold but I just don't like gold rims on red cars, so had them done silver instead.

Sorry the photo quality isn't great but you get the general idea.

Now I need to do the cam cover white and detail the engine bay. I also have a mint black leather interior ready to go in. Hopefully in time for my first show with it, on the 14th.
