Hey guys figured I'd start a build thread for this car since it should turn out pretty good once its all said and done.
To start the story off, my girlfriend drove a jeep liberty when we got together and I am a huge chrysler naysayer! So I convinced her to sell it and drive one of my cars while we found her something else.
She loved my old silvia convertible so that was one of the boxes it had to tick.

Next I knew she loved BMW's, so I knew what vehicle to buy her.

We decided on this car. 95 325i conv. 5 speed black on black, hardtop. Overall a super clean car with only 120k and 2 owners.
Ive been using this picture as a slight inspiration (sorry I have no idea who it belongs to)

Well to start things off she got rear ended, crushed the trunk, smashed the rear body panel, damaged the left rear frame rail, wasted the rear bumper and messed the quarter panel up pretty good.

This happened a few days before we were taking the car on a road trip from colorado to california. We got a check from the insurance company and decided I would get some M3 body parts while in california since they would be easier to come by.

After we returned from our vacation I prepped and painted and installed most of the new goods.

Then came the girly stuff, she bought this shift knob and I installed it because I'm a good boyfriend dammit.

She also bought a steering wheel (yet to reluctantly install this)

Now it was time for me to get to business. placed a large order and bought BC coil overs, AKG camber arms, and a ton of condor bushings.

And I got busy

also bought offset from LCABS but didn't get a picture.
Then I took it to a friends shop that deals with vintage porsche race cars, and did a legit corner balanced alignment. (Note I also welded up a little straight pipe cat-back for it)

This is without a driver, readings where a bit better with a driver. 49.99% cross balance.

How the car sits for now.

got my felony form over fenders in the mail last week.

The wheels should be here next week. varrstoen es8 18x10.5 +15 square set up

things still on the list include; Paint, roll cage, seats, harnesses, intake, tune, fix the ass end of the car still, AKG trailing arm pocket reinforcements, LSD or welded diff, and some other small aesthetic items here and there.
enjoy this for now because this will be a slow build.
