Did things.

The majority of my leaks are oil and power steering leaks. So, today I pulled the valve cover and replace the valve cover gasket and the end plugs that slide into the head from the top. Apparently the front passenger side plug had gotten brittle and had a piece of it break off. So oil was escaping and coating the corner of the block in oil and then dripping off the pan.





Can't work without caffeine.



Painted the valve cover and brackets.





I'll take some photos of it put back together tomorrow.

Also, can I ask. what lens are you primarily using for your photos? recently got a mkiii as well, and dont have an good glass yet.

50mm 1.8. Nothing crazy expensive.

I'm curious to see how those seats look in this car. With the theme you've carried through the rest of your mods, I think some vintage Recaro's (think mk2 gti) or just some clean sport seats might flow better with the rest of the car. Just a thought.

Jealous of that seat, what color is the rest of your interior? I got a flashy red vertex rep steering wheel and thought I wouldn't care about the color but it looks so off with my 90's beige toyota interior lol.

The seats are beige, the carpet and headliner is also beige.

I can take one thing off my long list of to-dos for the year.

Scored a Bride Zeta II for cheap. I have to sew some new velcro on as well as patch and sew up a small hole up near the head rest as well as down on the bottom left corner.
