  • '50 Pontiac Kustom Build

Couple Weeks ago I started looking for one of my Dream cars. a 53/54 Chev 2dr. Found one but day before I went to buy it the seller told me his Address, What he didn't tell me originally was that he lived in Minnesota(im just above in Canada) and that his price was USD. Well that Killed the deal, After exchange/Taxes/fees it just wasnt worth it, So back to looking I went. I put a wanted add out on a local Buysell site for any 49-54 Chevy/Pontiac 2dr and my phone started blowing up with Emails. This One caught my attention since it was 5Min from my shop but no pictures. I Took the drive Tuesday and Looked at it and bought it.

Cars a 1950 Pontiac Fleetleader Special 2dr sedan. Has all the metalwork done and only spot of rust is on the rear tail pan bottom edge. Has a Fleetwood rear diff with discs, Camaro front clip with a BBK.

    Plans are
Mustang 2 front and 4Linked rear
    Frenched heads and tails
    New paint and interior
    Shaved handles
    Air
    14" Supremes.
    New OEM interior.
The Old Owner Dropped it off today. Im exited to start on it. Hopefully my suspsion shows up to the border by next weekend and its fab time.

Seriously awesome to see more 1950s-60s cars pop up on here.

Have a '55 Plymouth that is sort of in work in progress mode right now. Definitely gives me motivation to see projects like this

I'm assuming this is a 3 on the tree. Are you swapping out to an automatic trans or trying to keep it manual?

Cars a flintstone right now. Its got no Column or Pedals, New floors were welded in so they got rid of them and never put them back. As for the Column I'll be putting in a Speedway GM Tilt column with a shift leaver and going 4l60e auto since I plan on taking this on the highway lots.

Crossmemember and 4Link showed up yesterday so I went out to the shop and my buddy welded them up for me. Ran out of Mig Wire so Had to only tac some pieces for now. Link Bars were Stick welded. Next week body comes off frame and the 4Link gets up on the frame.
