So, as some of you know, I crashed into a deer on my way to a show in june. been kind of down and out so i havent been interested in updating the thread here. made a lot of progress before the crash, so this post will serve as a pic dump for all of that lol. and crash pics as well.

because the car is not mobile currently, i was unable to really finish getting the trunk setup how i wanted and unable to get all the wheels off and grab pictures of the whole setup. those will probably be coming once i get all the parts to fix everything. insurance has been being a royal bitch with the whole thing, severely underquoting me for parts i would need to fix the car. apparantly the adjuster thinks that it would cost 900$ for a whole front end of a Gt-R lol. if only. so i've been fighting with them about that for months kind of putting the repair at a standstill.

Damage includes:
hood
Fenders
bumper and bumper support
rad support
headlights (N1)
radiator blew out

possible damage:
something was funky with the power steering after we towed it back to my house (only made it a mile away before smacking the deer) but may be due to the rad support touching the fan and keeping it from spinning. belts squealing a little as well i think for same reason. hopefully the fan and pulleys are ok, but hard to tell without pulling everything off yet as i dont have space or tools to do that in my garage. now for some good pics, and then the bad haha

and now for the bad ones. she will be back and better than ever, with a few more things as well, come spring time.
might go livery, might get the new front end pieces painted, still havent decided. up in the air. but will get started on planning that shortly!

So, figured you guys would like another update! just got all my vinyl in to start getting panels ready, since paint is too expensive for me right now. decided to go with an iconic version of my car that i wanted to replicate before the crash. so here is the render that my buddy came up with! going to start the tear down and rebuild next week.

also going to be starting another project with a set of tail lights, going to split the lenses off and make custom molds in a frosted clear plastic. so new livery, and "white" tail lights are going to be this winters project along with getting seats in and making the air install pretty! stay updated, should have some more stuff coming in the next couple weeks content wise!

I thought about trying to get new or good condition n1 headlights but I think I may go this route. Stock projectors, bake and take apart and paint the housings black. Think it looks really killer and it'll go nicely with the livery I think! Going to try and order lights in the next couple days and then the project begins, and I'll do a DIY of the whole process even though I'm sure others exist.

finally getting her ready for transport, put these rollers on so i don't damage the futuras and just need to get the other side done this week, and it'll be going to the shop for the tear down of the front end, reassembly, hardlines setup hopefully, and then wrap! still need a few parts but they should be on order soon and then the hard part begins.
