and now for the bad ones. she will be back and better than ever, with a few more things as well, come spring time.
might go livery, might get the new front end pieces painted, still havent decided. up in the air. but will get started on planning that shortly!

So, as some of you know, I crashed into a deer on my way to a show in june. been kind of down and out so i havent been interested in updating the thread here. made a lot of progress before the crash, so this post will serve as a pic dump for all of that lol. and crash pics as well.

because the car is not mobile currently, i was unable to really finish getting the trunk setup how i wanted and unable to get all the wheels off and grab pictures of the whole setup. those will probably be coming once i get all the parts to fix everything. insurance has been being a royal bitch with the whole thing, severely underquoting me for parts i would need to fix the car. apparantly the adjuster thinks that it would cost 900$ for a whole front end of a Gt-R lol. if only. so i've been fighting with them about that for months kind of putting the repair at a standstill.

    Damage includes:
    hood
    Fenders
    bumper and bumper support
    rad support
    headlights (N1)
    radiator blew out

    possible damage:
something was funky with the power steering after we towed it back to my house (only made it a mile away before smacking the deer) but may be due to the rad support touching the fan and keeping it from spinning. belts squealing a little as well i think for same reason. hopefully the fan and pulleys are ok, but hard to tell without pulling everything off yet as i dont have space or tools to do that in my garage. now for some good pics, and then the bad haha

Center caps got done the week after the car crashed too lol. my luck. please excuse the dirtyness

only got to stop down in the shop for a little bit this weekend but made some progress. my buddy Devin did an awesome job rolling the feders and quarters, now some serious fab work has to be done. the strut towers have been modified, upper control arms have been slightly notched, and this is how the front will sit after we have a new bottom mount for the strut machined. SO much work just to get the front of this thing low. the rear is absolutely perfect however without adding any extra camber whatsoever. actually had to use 15mm spacers all around putting everything at ET -8 which is sort of crazy haha. could have gotten away with half inch bigger lips! now i'll know for my next set of wheels.

more detailed post coming soon once i have time to go through everything and actually remember to do it haha. please dont mind how filthy it is here haha

still waiting on my new charger and battery so i can take some detailed pics of the air install, so i guess this will do for now haha. test fit the carbon roof spoiler, and some new rear spats and other carbon bits are on the way as well! should have my camera working this weekend so i can get pics of how the wheels fit now that the fenders and quarters are rolled!
some light fabrication had to be done to the front towers to go low enough to sit fender to lip, we should be finishing up on saturday. big post coming this weekend!

Does broadway plan on selling this as a complete kit in the future?
as far as i know they won't be offered publicly on their site, but now they have all the specs to build another set of these without the trial and error needed to get everything right for my car. so yes they will be offered from them you'd just have to email and have them make another set!

haha that steering wheel is way cooler than mine! i didnt get the deep one, just the more flat spoked Nardi. if i was able to use a short hub with mine, i would have went with a Deep Corn!

and thanks for all the positive response guys! gonna be working non stop on this thing on the weekends now that i have it back. I got in contact with Accuair and they want to make a nice feature and video of the Gt-R! should be shooting some time next month! time to get some of these new parts on and order some more to button her up
