OK UPDATE. 4 DAYS TIL BIMMERFEST.

Trying to get as much done as possible. The car wont be 100% when I show up.

The car is super dirty right now.

Got most of the painted parts back on the car. Drilled holes in the front bumper shocks. I had to run her into a wall to get it to break. Actually couldn't get it all the way in after that. My friend with leg strength of a greek god kicked it and the rest leaked out.

Been taking the inside pieces out to get them rewrapped with the fabric I bought. Spent like 3 hours downtown LA looking for a pattern I liked.

Put new Bosche Sparkplugs in it yesterday as well. Hopefully I can get the back bumper tucked by Saturday.

Dyed the back C pillars black. You can kind of see it in the 2nd picture. I made a fatal mistake though and ripped a hole in the fabric.(covered with that temp BMW sticker) looks ok for now.

Let me know if you guys are going to bimmerfest.

    Stay tuned.

Ok, Update time. We did work this weekend.

New intake boot, boring. I got new shocks for the back and we did the drop on the back as well. Man this thing is as stiff as a dick.
    Check the pictures.

I will say the back was a billion times easier than the front.
Also some paint work is being done on the bumpers, more to show about that.

Trying to get it as ready as possible for bimmerfest, let me know if your going!

By the way, the vent on your C pillar? Looks good in black, at least on my white one.
Grab a can of plasti dip and try it out. I think it breaks it up very nicely. Mine came black, and I can only assume it was from the factory like that since the coat is definitely done professionally.

I most certainly will look into obtaining individuals. They may be really great.

Did some work this past weekend. I installed new KYB struts in the front. The old ones were so shot. They were leaking oil all over the place. Also did the front brake pads and center cap emblems.

We cut 1.5 coils off the front which gave it a decent little drop. Going to have to lower it more after I get wheels.

    Heres the pics.

Thanks Owndapwn for the detailed response. I've definitely got some oil leaking out the block. Mine had the head rebuilt when its head gasket blew.
It does drive really straight just when I turn it creeks a bit.

Update on what I did this weekend. Cleaned the engine bay and the interior like crazy.

    Dirty Coke Stains

This is after cleaning. It looks and smells so much better. Hard to tell by the pic.

Dash cleaned up pretty good too
