Hey everyone! I've been planning on making a build thread for awhile here but haven't gotten the time until now. The downside to me waiting so long is that my car is pretty much done everything that i've planned, but i still have a few things to do and hopefully this will inspire and or help anyone in the future!
Before I go any further I want to give a huge thanks to Clarence aka solowx3 on the forum here! Thanks for the help with any problems I had and for inspiring me to follow through with this build of mine!
Alright, lets get into it. I have a 2004 Bmw X3 3.0i 6MT that i decided(for some unknown reason) to stance it out. I have had the car for just over 2 years now, I bought it from an older woman in Ontario who took amazing care of this vehicle. She was the original owner and the only thing done aftermarket to this vehicle was a little butterfly sticker on the side window. This wasnt an easy car to find, given that it was in flamenco red w/ the beige interior. To add to that, this car also had the m54b30 mated to a 6 speed manual getrag transmission. In short, I got very lucky to find this car in this condition.
Currently these are the mods I have done to the car.
Suspension:
-KW V2 Coilovers
-UUC adjustable rear control arms
Performance:
-Custom 3" catback exhaust
-aFe stage 1 intake
-Sprint throttle booster (waste of money)
Wheels:
-Ruffino Meisters 18x8.5 et35
-Zenna 225/45r18
-15mm raceland spacers
Exterior:
-25% tint all around
-Zunsport mesh grille
-Woodgrain/black roundel overlay
-HellaHorns
Interior:
-Nrg M3 short hub
-Nrg 2.5 quickrelease
-Nrg Woodgrain steering wheel
-Momo shift knob
-Pioneer X7500bt headunit
-Infinity Amplifier
-Infinity 12" subwoofer
Now for Pictures!
These pictures are from last year right when I put the coils on, Unfortunately these are the only ones available for my vehicle and Kw makes track suspension so they weren't exactly made with being low in mind. That being said the ride quality is pretty good, this vehicle does not handle like an suv anymore lol.

These are the new wheels that I finally just put on last week, transformed the whole look of the car, I gotta say, I'm loving them!

Thats all for now but ill make updates as they come! Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to follow my build. Also to note I am located in Edmonton Alberta, but I currently live in Kelowna BC for school. If you anyone happens to be around those areas I do photography and I'm always looking for cool cars to shoot so hmu. Im not very big right now so I don't charge for photography. Im just happy to get some shoots under my belt!
