This is about to get funky!!

This weekend I will be ordering some Japan Racing JR10 in 18" 8.5j in full Chrome!

These wheels but obviously in full chrome!
I am also going to be ordering coilovers soon however I need to finish refurbing the TT wheels and then sell my R32s

So if anyones interested in some R32 Replicas with minor curb damage on two wheels and tyres with some tread left... Well they'll be for sale soon!

          HUGE UPDATE!!

Lets start a while back now...

I went to work one day and someone had parked a standard Bora next to my space!

Great to see the difference in height

Then I ordered some things and they arrived...

          COILOVERS!!

Got a couple of mates over and we set to work fitting!

Fronts first then rears.. Big difference!

And all of a sudden it looks amazing!

          Still not low enough though..

          A quick before and after

Then I went on holiday for two weeks and when I got back I told Japan Racing to send my wheels!
(Long story short they were ordered and made before I went away but because they were coming from Poland they couldn't guarantee they would be here before I went away)

On the same day I went to pick up a US front rub strip in the exact same colour!

Pictures of it on to follow..

Went to The Annual Takeover in Swindon on Sunday and had my picture taken by a real photographer for the first time!

Low quality image because im too skint to pay £2 to get the full size

So yesterday my tyres arrived - 225/40/R18 Falken ZE914's

          And today my wheels arrived!!

          Mounted one up...

          F***ing in love!!

Getting the tyres fit on Saturday so more pics then

And that gave me the motivation to get my wide wings on...
(That I bought before holiday and after lows without taking any pictures *derp*)

          US Rub strip there /\ /\ /\

They fit nicely now just to wire in the indicators on the rub strip and clean off the sticky sh*t on my bumper from where the number plate was...

Getting a quote on a Cat-back stainless exhaust next Wednesday and that will be on by the end of the month!

Thanks for reading any comments are much appreciated!

Those wide fenders look insane! Love the new wheels too.

Its starting to take shape. Personally I think a 225/40/18 on a 8.5" wheel is too bulky. Maybes a 205/40/18 or 205/35/18 would be better. Have a look on tyrestretch.com for future sizes.

Got the sticky sh*t off my bumper and it looks much better!

And on Saturday I took my wheels and tyres to a tyre place and got them fitted...

They look amazing and there's much more stretch than I thought I was going to get!

However the rear mudflaps need to go so i'll be taking them off tonight..

Went to a show on Sunday in Basingstoke - Endless Summer VW Show

I love the way the car is sitting on the new wheels!

Just can't stop looking at it

That's all for now I'll update when I've got the exhaust fitted.

So a little bit later than planned seen as I dropped a ratchet on my phone screen so had nothing to take pictures with..

Had my exhaust fitted and it sounds amazing! Pictures further down \/ \/ \/

                      Went to a rolling road day last Saturday organised by Hampshire Hot Rides;

115.4 bhp!! From a small 1.6 16v engine that's supposed to only be running 105 out the showroom, I'm very happy!

                      The next day was a car show organised by HHR at Thruxton Circuit;

Was a great day but didn't have my phone so all pictures above we're taken by photographers at the events.

                      I ordered some new exhaust mounts due to the old ones being perished and fitted them today;

                      And here is the exhaust!

Sorry about the smoke and water coming out its only doing it because its cold..

I'll be getting my wings painted at the end of the month so that will be the next update unless I take some good pictures

                      Cheers again

So future plans are now set out...

Next month i'll be getting the wings sprayed and i'll be ordering some 30mm spacers.

The old 20mm spacers that are on the front will go on the back and will be replaced by the 30s.

Plans after that are to get an air filter hooked up to maybe eek out another bhp or two..

Then paint the rocker cover and just generally tidy up under the hood.

After that who knows where it'll go.. Maybe Air or go lower Static..

                            Any suggestions are much welcome

So i've pretty much given up with the Bora now.. Lost all interest in the old girl..

                              Wheels are for sale:

I can't go any lower static without a different arb and a chassis notch and engine raisers, Air is going to cost nearly 2k and the insurance is due for renual next month and I cant seem to get insured for less than 2 grand

Seen a Polo I like so i'll update the thread when I buy a new car and the update will have a link to a new thread

Pick up a 6n2. Things can go mad low static and the 1.4 is a nice punchy engine. I'm hoping to pick one up around February
