I have a build thread for my POS Volvo, why not make one for my nice car/daily driver.

Starting with some background info:

2006 WRX Limited Wagon
5 speed manual
World Rally Blue
Previously owned by a 70 year old couple who bought it brand new
Purchased with 82k miles
And I've got alllllll the service records showing how well kept it has been

I love this car and it's my baby. This is when I first got it in mid January:






Next came wintermode:





Then got the windows tinted




Yesterday I put on some new rotors I got from NAPA. The car shook reaaaally bad when braking at highway speed, and now I'm just waiting for my ceramic pads to come in and I'll put everything back together. First time I've messed with rotors, pretty proud of myself lol






That's all I've got for now. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the month so I can take it down to WBTB (euros only, yes I know). My plans:




Above is my old Impreza 2.5i that I had for three and a half years. I learned a lot with it, and now I'm in the process of setting up the wagon like this one was before I sold it.

Stay tuned, I'll be throwing some pictures up on here whenever I get the wheels on and the fitment to my liking.

I agree! They had every single service record showing every oil change, when they got a new clutch in, new drive belts, everything. It's awesome

ok ok ok so the car won't be ready by WBTB, I just have too much work to do and not enough time to get it done.

But I finally got my coilovers on and put on my 3sdms just to see what it looked like:







Front fitment looks like dump but the rear won't need much work. Now if I could just get my fenders rolled I could go lower. This height is temporary, it was what the coilovers were set at when I raised my old car for winter and it seems 2 of them are seized anyway.

I also found that both of my front calipers are locked up a lil bit

I can't wait to get it all done, hopefully in the next couple weeks.

I finally got my fenders rolled and my wheels put on. I've missed these wheels so much, it looks great in person. I'm going another inch or two lower and I'll mess around with the fitment later this week. As of now I'm maxed out on negative camber up front and it fits perfect.

Went lower and had a little photoshoot! I'm going lower in the front after some more fender work, I rub like crazy in the rear with my 5mm spacers in so I'll need to mess with that too. I've got quite a bit of work to do to get the car ready for sowo on friday.
