A DC5 has an exposed steering rack that is mounted against the firewall smack bang in the middle.
The difference is that on the DC5, the mount for the tie rod end is on the lower slip on for the coilover. The DC5 is a macpherson style set up, Compared to the EK, or any early civic/integra for that matter, where the coilover mounts to the lower control arm and has a knuckle set up, not a stub axle...
