    Much hasnt changed been too busy with other projects. Decided to hold off on the 2j for now and sent my 22r head to get a refresh turns out the previous owner thought it would be cool if he siliconed the entire head to the gasket and block. Ended up getting it off... And got it back from the machine shop

    Gonna try get more pics of the crappy interior.

    But im just gonna leave this here...

    I got the motor for extremely cheap practically free. All it needs are seals and parts for a 2jz are much more easier to find locally then a 7m

    why 2jz? a 7m is a much cheaper and reliable build that puts out the same power or more. if your going for stock. and easy to get power out of them.

    Update: havent driven the car in awhile blew the head gasket. Fixing that tomorrow.
    Got some goodies in the mail today...



    And nardi steering wheel and works bell hub on the way. Hopefully gets here at the end of the week
    And hopefully retrofit a set of stance coils for a ae86 soon

    Tackling the rust (which theres a lot of) and a respray after i replace the gaskets
    Hopefully get to interior also

    Little progress today. Made it less jenky put in a new radiator cap



    Removed this "oil catch can"





    Then got a call randomly from a friend with a deal i couldnt refuse...


    So i guess im going with a 2jz vvti swap after i rebuild it
