Hi everyone, new to the site. thought i would show you where i am with the beetle.
so far i have had to cut out a load of rot and rust from the heater channels, i have narrowed the beam and fitted adjusters, dropped spindles, new brakes all round, new lines, notched spring plates, new shocks, 2 splines up at the back. had to find an engine for it which took a bit of looking but this one seems good so we will see! few more bits to sort. the front needs to be lower, will do that when its next up on stands.
hope to sort some banded steels for the rears to fill the arch a little more.
after being at ultimate dubs over the weekend im now going to try get this thing done to enjoy the summer shows in the uk!
