So, I've owned the car for a little while now and after reading lots of build threads whilst at work I thought I'd spend some time making my build thread, I'll have to back track quite a bit to get up too date but I'll try keep it brief. Also, I know it's called a mx5/eunos in the UK but I like the name Miata :P
WARNING WILL BE PICTURE HEAVY
So a couple of specs & pictures when I bought her..
1.6 S-Special - S-special extras include the engine strut brace, nardi steering wheel and gear knob, bilstein shocks and rear spoiler.
88k on the clock.
Really clean car.
And some Pictures

I needed to get rid of that filthy arch gap as best as I could so cheap coilovers were bought straight away!

I didn't get many photographs because this happened the weekend after I got the coilovers on.. Hit a metal barrier at 40mph.. Mixture of cheap chinese tyre, lots of rain and unskillful young lad at the wheel probably.

The steering wheel is pointing straight by the way..

Even though I was in quite a lot of pain I was more bothered about the car, but I took this as a chance to do a couple of mods whilst of the road.
First thing was wheels, I smashed one of the original BBS wheels so much that it just wasn't holding air, so I grabbed a set of wheels from a friend to run around on in the winter until I had the funds this summer for my dream wheels.

New tie rod, upper and lower wishbone and inner and outer tie rod sorted. Now to replace the front bumper and wing.

Got my new wing fitted, decided to put the old scratched up bumper on and get the new one sent away to be smoothed and painted (still haven't done this *rolls eyes*)

Decided to de-tango the front indicator light units.

New shift gaiter and handbrake gaiter.

Painted the wiper arms as they had lost the black and gone rusty.

Bumper back on getting ready for wheel alignment and new tyres to get back on the road.

Bought myself a private number plate, something I've wanted since I had passed my test.

Gave the car a good polish and wax, beading

Went and bought myself a hardtop. Best thing I have done.

Got rid of the spoiler on the boot, ***** it with a passion haha!

And now this brings us up to today.. I recently bought some sideskirts over from america, Project-G and bought a OEM front lip too. Got the lip fitted and tested the sideskirts before they go for paint.

And just a couple of cheeky photoshops of little changes to keep my mind loving the car whilst I have no money..
