Well guys I stumbled on a great car. Everything I buy I lower but this will be the first time going with a bag setup. Any input would be great. I have been doing some research and I am seriously considering going with the airlift v2. That part seems pretty easy. As far as picking the right bags and getting them mounted I'm a little unsure. Anyway, any info would be great. So here are the details of the car. It is a '68 Mercedes 200D. It is a W110 so it appears no one makes any hardware for mounting the bags for this thing. I bought it from the original owner and it only has 23k on it. The last state inspection was in 1978. It has been sitting for a very long time. Everything needs work at this point but that's half of the fun.

Here are a couple of pics.

My plan is to get is running with motor and drive it the way it is for the summer. Then bag it and do LS1 swap. Of course I have to get the brakes working and the clutch. I have gotten the motor running but it needs so tweaking. I can't get it to idle unless I manually control it by hand. It's a slow process but I'm getting there.

I do love me a W110. Bagging this should be very straightforward with how Mercedes suspension of this vintage is designed. It'll be largely similar to the W108 and to the W114/W115, though unlike the /8, you won't have to relocate the rear shocks.

Just my dumb opinion, but this thing is way too neat for an LS swap. I'd love to see you do a 606 turbo or if it's got to remain gas, 104s love boost.

I got the car washed and cleaned up a little. Just washing made a big difference.

Here is a pic of a wheel before and after cleaning and polishing.
