I've been hovering around the builds section for many months, checking out the quality fabrication skills and engine swaps many of you undertake, this project of mine however isn't going that deep, (i'm saving that for my E30 340i M60B40 conversion) 
So to start off, i bought this genuine Sport 323 Touring in Titan Silver for a very reasonable price as a daily drifter/dog chariot, it had an idling issue i needed to sort and the bushes were so fucked it moved across lanes of its own free will
Here she blows when i first got her:
After getting her home, i set to work making it usable, i decided i wasn't going to go all out and get it to show standard as my dog would most likely rip the inside to shreds and the damage down the nearside might only get worse when i take it to drift days.
First things on the list were bushes & coilovers, my E30 is being treated to the best but this old slag is getting some ebay specials. I went with GAZ top mounts on the rear and some camber adjustables for the front
I decided to go down the route of E46 bottom arms to give it a wider track on the front and also invested in some modded hubs to give me more lock.
Next on the list was wheels, i'd previously seen Scotts E36 Touring on here and fell in love with it on the Style 32's so i set to work finding a set, i found them in Swansea - a 6 hour round trip - fuck it was my intial reaction so off i went.
The car then looked like this...
The mirrors had flaked on the bases so they needed replacing, found myself a decent copy set of the original M3 mirrors
Next up was the interior, i decided to do away with my standard sport seats and fit some bucket seats..
Thats pretty much this build so far, although now i'm considering a M50 Turbo build or RB25 conversion
