Hey guys, this will be a build thread for my 95 British racing green Miata. The car was owned by my mother for ten years previous to me and is in immaculate condition. I just had the paint restored.

Here is the car in its current state:

Here are the wheels I've purchased on another car:

They are 15x9 Advanti storm s1 +35. They will be wrapped in 225/45/15 NT-01s. Why so much tire you ask? Because it will be receiving a l33 v8 this summer. I have a lot of parts to be bought once I receive my tax return, but I already have a T-56 purchased, which should be the most expensive single item I need to purchase.

    Here's my daily, it's a jdm 99 subaru b4 rsk:

And my wife's daily, a jdm legnum vr-4:

And the reason I get to have an expensive project, my wife's triumph Daytona:

I'll try to keep this thread up to date as the tear down and build up start.

          Update 1

My wheels and tires have arrived but I haven't picked them up yet, I'm hoping to go get them on Friday. I did my taxes, and am going to have 3k to put towards some parts. That should take care of the subframe and engine, leaving me with perhaps $1500 more needed to get the engine running in the car. I will hopefully be purchasing an ls1 this week, if I can get the shipping figured out.

          Thanks for the comments!

Haha my wife is the fastest rider I know. She has far more skills on a bike than I ever had. I prefer the safety and stability of 4 wheels, but I plan on riding the Daytona at least once this year. Of course when she's not riding her bike she's driving a right hand drive wagon with 300hp, awd, and a stick.

She's a pretty cool chick. Did I mention she can cook too?

                        Thanks for the comments guys.

                            Update 2

So my wife and I went down to the border to pick up some parts in the wagon. The advantis, a t-56, and a new battery were waiting for us. Still waiting for my last 2 nt-01s to come in.

                            I'm starting to get excited.

I got a couple pictures of my ls1 being packaged up for shipping.
