  • OCD's new 190e

So here it is, what I've nicknamed Eazy E (sad I know haha)

'91 year, 1 lady owner since '94 and 116,000 miles on the clock. So pretty low miles for average over here and spotless inside and out. Got it for a bit of a bargain with it so we're over the moon!

Head gasket is going which appears to be quite common so we'll be ripping in to that when the shop quietens down in a couple of weeks and getting all that spot on for a year of being dragged round the Uk and Europe.

    Testing some wheels too

    Cheers

    Welcome!

RSs always look great on older MBs, though I have to say, 18s are BIG on a W201!

    What's the plans?

If you can get it to tuck those 18s on the rear and squat on the front. I'd marry you

Cheers lads! The 18's is a big debate right now. We're not sure, but our mates are saying go for 17's but we do want to pull off 18's tucked neatly all round.

Joe's RS's in the pic are far too wide! The 9'5 on the back was tyre stuck on arch. We're gonna try find a set of mono 18's with decent offsets and see how it tucks them.

Then we can build up a special set of classic splits.

As for plans, just keep it tidy. Get it on the floor and build a sweet install to demo what we can do and show off some products the Uk air scene doesn't see.

We're looking to use the RidePro Big Red mani to get it moving air fast, just have some fun with it

Started on the head removal yesterday after we'd got the days jobs done.

My first play with a merc at all! Spent 8 years at VW but I was impressed with it. Nicely engineered. Kjet though which is my downfall on older cars haha

Should have the chain timing figured and sorted so I can get the head off and to the local engineers to get it checked over

Head's off....started cleaning the years worth of grime and muck out the bay too!

Crying out for a V6 of some sorts haha

                    Dirty head...

                      A v6 you say? How about a VG30DE?

Make it float in the engine bay like 1badg35's Z.

Pizza and a late night last night for me and Joe, just ended up getting things cleaned up.

I'm thinking of semi-smoothing the bay, coolant and washer bottle deletes. Top fill rad.
And as much of the vac line stuff as we can, has anyone got any guides of info of what we can bin off?

And I've just been testing the wheels for it, can't wait to get these built up!

Front's still on OE shocks so it won't drop so much. Should be spot on when we get the now shocks on it. Back's ok, we'll just get something that's a little shorter and stiffer so we can ride it low.

                        Can't wait!!

Hopefully got something special for the boot coming from Specialty Suspensions too

Wish I knew more about the gassers - I love the idea of a smoothed bay.

Don't worry, it won't be happening anytime soone!

Think we'll just end up tidying the 1800 up nicely and keep it as clean as possible.

Certainly crying out for a tidy bah though.

Spent a while digging through your thread too dude, getting pretty worried about this bag setup now haha

                            Sure we'll figure something though
