More things.

So I bought this car from the owner of NGP's brother, and most things are done very well, and others are just plain dumb and rushed(presumably done by the owner, not NGP). A lot of the audio system needs to be overhauled. It has a very nice Alpine HU, ancient R&F rear speakers, stock fronts and has a nice big power cable running to the rear(no signs of RCA or a signal power wire, but assuming it had a sub. Rear speakers were bolted down very well, but are connected by bare wire wrapped around the terminals...

So list of things to fix for stereo

1. rear speaker connections
2. upgrade at least the front speakers
3. small sub/ amp
3. Clean up all wiring


The biggest issue was the fact that the sub power wire was simply run through a hole 3x the diameter of the wire, leaving a big hole in the firewall. Decided just to remove the wire(which was still connected to the batter, luckily the rear had electrical tape over the bare wire, but still). When the time comes to install a sub, I'll buy a grommet to fit so it's actually done properly.


Fuse and wire disconnected, hole is taped over and sealed for now, pulled the cable through into the interior and tucked it behind the fuse panel for now.







And super excitingly, took advantage of the one good thing about Pennsylvania and removed my front plate. Much better, just need to pull the grill off sometime(not difficult as it un-clips itself while driving) and paint the lower portion white. And also looking into some small LED retrofit fog lights. And need to restore the headlights. And detail the entire car. Lots of things to be done.

I'm fixing up a few things first before I put it back on the market, I'd be asking $3500 with the coils and all that good stuff.
