  • 17x10 wheels on e30

hey guys i have a 1987 4 dr e30.. im looking at ordering wheels for it and im trying to fit 17x10 wheels all around. i know im goin to have to run a good bit of camber in the rear but could i just get some camber kits/ plates for the rear , and would i have to order some different rear control arms? thanks guys!

You shouldn't have to modify the control arms in the rear. The biggest problem I would see is if you decided to go with weld in coilovers then the front offset would need to be at least et-12. Yes that is a negative. at least that is how my set up is. I am a mm away from rubbing the collars with the barrel on 17x9 et0. Just something to think about.

As with the rears tho, you can fit 10s et20 pretty easy.

yea that what my concern was for the front . i was just thinking about running staggered 8.5 in the front with 20 offset and 10s in the rear with et15 .. but i guess ill just have to do some more measurements .. thanks for your time!

I'm running 16x9 et 9 on the front of my e30 and I'm super close to the strut as well and that's the widest I would want to go in the front without a stupid amount of camber and poke. Do 17x9 in the front and and 17x10 in the rear and you will be good to go.
