We're not all posh us Scots! Although, I know how you feel, I like to read the canadian threads with an "ay" at the end of every sentence and the ozzy stuff with a lot of ambition and swearing and use of the word "shitcunt". Makes the read more intredasting

Rear bumper looks pretty sweet, to get more flush youre going to need to drop tyre size down and get a little stretch on the go.

LOL wut. His issue is that it's sunk, why would a smaller tire size do anything but make it worse?

Tire size looks perfect for that height, maybe some spacing in the rears to match the front?


New wheels make the car look much better imo, looking forward to seeing more body work and the headunit surround. Keep up the good work!

Because he was talking of getting spacers for them anyways, i never included that in my post because i thought it was obvious lol

Yeah, much prefer new wheels, not sure if i'm gonna leave them that colour though.

I'd rather lift the suspension a touch, with spacers, than put some stretch on.

I've been pulled for stretch on my Audi before in Aberdeen man, if they try to say anything just ask them where in the legislation it mentions it being illegal. I've gotten away with it before from that, and when they tried again I filed harrassment and haven't been troubled since

EDIT: Also, Veccy's looking sweet man! Thinking of buying a Vectra C SRI to keep the miles off the family Insignia haha!

so, as much as listening to the purr from the unsilenced exhaust is nice, i thought i'd get on with the head unit.

With an even mixture of suprise and relief, the surround fit nicely in! yay!







But! the head unit wouldnt fit all the way in, couldnt understand why not...then found the issue



Made the issue disappear...



Then the head unit fit in pretty nice...







It doesnt sit 100% sweet, but i gotta take it all apart again anyway to vinyl the interior bits, and do an LED swap on the dash etc. but i'm chuffed

this was waaaay more work than i thought it was going to be, and i definitely wouldnt try it again, but happy how it's turned out.

A wee bit more this weekend...

Finally sorted the washer jets - reservoir was bunged up, jets were bunged up, and horrible....swapped for these





Didnt really get much more done, sanded down some of the rusty filler patches, but no worth taking photo's, did however, take her for a wee country stroll. As it was sunny, had to take a few wee cheeky snaps...
