Another E28 535IS,

Hey guys,
i wanted to show my lil' BMW e28 build:
I am a german guy who recently moved to the US/Ca, and since i am a BMW guy
it was time for me to get me some "german" company out here.
after searching for a while iwas able to land this gorgeous all original
ROYALBLAU US Version 535 i(S) wich is a basicly unknown version in germany .

Car is in great shape for its age,
CA car and therefore no rust at all.

I started with some technical repairs and cosmetics,
then i had to safe some money before i was able making moves again.

i finaly bought BC Racing coilovers, wich are decent for the price i think,
even though i hasitated a bit before i got them to be honest.

then it was time to lower the car...

Bumper TUCK ,
since i am german and used to the EURO version i had to adjust to the thick US bumpers 1st.
I saw a nice thread about E34 bumpers
wich i think is a awesome built http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=58646
But i first went with the US BUMPER TUCK where i found a nice DIY.
I dont want to give up the US AIR DAM so this tuck seemed resonable to me.

i got some 17inch rims
Since i have BBS RS on my E30 Conv. (in germany) i wanted to do something different,
i thought about BBS LM design, and then i found this nice Design, wich seems a bit more individual to me.
the colour is called BLACK CHROME
Size:
9.5 in the back
8.5 front
with all around
215/40 tires

i think it gives a decent stretch in the back..
cant wait to mount them, but gotta do some fenderwork 1st.

this is where i am actualy, this whole process between getting the car and now took me like 5 month,
since i am doing it step by step, whenever i have/had time and $.

How long ago did you buy this ? I remember seeing it on craigslist a few months back , was really tempted to fly down and buy it . Cant wait to see what you do to it !

i love it. its really clean! the IS airdam looks great, i wouldnt want to get rid of it either! i wouldnt mind if you stole the e34 bumper idea! i certainly wasn't the first one to do it! i hope im not the last

Bought it Sept i think cant remember anymore..
i was probably lucky you decided to not come and take/buy it
had in the garage for a while since i was working on another personal project
