I won't sugarcoat it haha, the rotiform's weren't my favorite. But these are looking to be a much better fit, can't wait to see them refinished!
I found out, you either **** them or love them. Some people were mad at me for selling the Rotiforms, but I'm looking forward to refinishing these and getting them fitted
Small update, started on refinishing the wheels! Got two split, and Im starting to work on polishing the lips, still trying to decide what I want to do with the faces. Thinking about doing them Alpine White to match the car but I have yet to decide! But I'm enjoying working on them. Ill have more pics after work!
I also ordered a set of adaptors from 42DraftDesigns, so its getting exciting
Started to work on polishing one of the lips on the new wheels.
Still got a lot of work today, but you can definitely tell a difference.
Only got up to 400 grit tonight! More soon..
Not completely accurate test fit because I forgot all the hardware to the adapters at my apartment at school, and my stud conversion kit is still on:/ But this is basically the fitment I'm looking for and its gonna be pretty damn close, may have to add like 5-10mm spacers down the road.
Wheels should be going out to powder coat VERY soon. 99% sure they will be alpine white to match the car. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Been busy & stressed, brother gets married next week, and the end of my first year of college is getting close. Just ready for summer!!!!!!
Getting closer to getting everything pieced together. Wheels go out to Renewed Finishes Monday for powder coating! Started doing body work, just ready to have more time to work on this damn thing!!!!
Well, I have not posted in a while, it was a big rush to get everything done and back together in time for SoWo, but I made it happen, with the help of good friends and my boys over at Markert Motorworks. Had a great time at SoWo, a bunch of idiots showed up, but still a lot of cool people and amazing cars
SO HERE IT IS: my car back together and I am pretty satisfied, for now.
looks like you can add maybe an inch of lip on there! boom, et perfect
thats my plan for the winter, widen them in the front and rear, just did not fit in my budget to get the car ready for SoWo, its hard building a car while being college broke... lolol
