LED DRLs were looking a bit tired, so removed the headlights

Let's install the new one, but also, glue it with a super glue for cf composites to secure it in place from potential thieves. Sadly there are these as well.

If u mean the price, it is currently at 1.9euros per liter. While it was at 0.8 euros per liter when i bought the car, back in 2015 January.
The petrol, is at almost the same price, from 2,1 to 2,4 euros per liter.

I am glad i have a diesel as a daily/ Let's just say that.

Good day to all.

Made some modifications to the exhaust system of the daily. Up till now i have been running a full exhaust system without dpf, downpipe Darkside developments, and the catback section custom made in Greece, with a twin tip muffler for an OEM+ look.

For some time now, although I liked the look, let's say it wasnt as special or as custom as the rest of the car. So i had some thought for some time.
Plan was to do a turn down tip, which was a first for me and was nervous as to if i could pull it off nicely, but i would give it a go.

The turn down goes well with TDi cars to begin with, plus, it will give that tad of custom look i am going for with some pie cuts nicely welded.

Lets see the process.

What is more, given the limited options given at the dealer the stripe didnt actually fit with anything in the interior.

So i chose to go for some custom floormats from a local upholstery shop. Here is my choice i went with.

Black carpet, black leather stripe, red stitching.

Another idea I had for some time now, is to make some clubsport/gt3 style door pulls like i have done in my Audi A4 about 10-12 years ago.

I had some leather red ones unused i made back then , and thought why not.

Treated them with some Koch LeatherStar to bring some life to them

Then remove the holder for the door pull assembly

Trimmed some plastic, and then i had to make something like a dowel pin for the strap to go around it. Made that out of of some long appropriate rods, wrapped with heat shrink wire tube for an oem finish.

What is left now, for the perfect look, is to fabricate some block off plates, to cover the mechanish side, probably in cf, or alcantara, we shall see, I am thinking how it will be adressed .

Yes, you are correct. I have thought about it myself multiple times. Have been running OZ and Enkeis at the same time i run Rotas. I could be running Rays instead of the latest one, and also compomotives instead of the other design, which is where the original design was from. At the time of purchase it was easier to get these not money wise but country wise. The rays i had to import them from US or Japan, and would end up costing two times the initial price due to custom fees, and so i went with buying from UK which at the time, was in EU. not anymore though, so there goes that customs fee- free card as well. Also, as for the compomotive one, i couldnt get the fitment i wanted for the A1. and still cant for 19s that i want for the latest A4.

I was very hesitant at first to go for Rotas. Nowadays Rotas cost the money of OZ at least where I am at. But prices are international on the web. Quality wise, I have zero complains from the three sets of Rotas I have used. Daily driven, track driven, nothing, luckily. However, like you said, it doesnt make sense if you see Rotas in my cars. However now i guess you know why. I regret selling my OZs and my Enkeis SO MUCH.

Also, you will see some updates on the Golf, which is still with me, and also, in the other A4.
